I tend to fly over to Carriacou though I do travel by Osprey some times. My father and that side of my family are from Carriacou so I have always been blessed to stay there whenever I visit Grenada. Beautiful country, beaches and people (I am biased but it's true!). It really is the traditional Caribbean with so many unique festivals and celebrations. Traditional weddings and funerals with the family/community are amazing = Big Drum Dances, quadrilles, Tombstone Feasts

Correction to taxi driver: The French did not 'discover'/name Carriacou or call it 'the land of (many) reefs'. The Caribs, who lived on the island many centuries before the French arrived, called the island Kayryouacou translated as 'the land of (many) reefs; the French merely Francised it.

Actually not a good idea to shampoo afterwards! You are removing the oils out! And you are not getting great results by keeping treatment on for only 1 minute! Sit under hair dryer for at least 20 minutes keeps hair shiny and soft for at least a couple of weeks!
